BUILDING LIVES AROUND SOUND TRANSFORMATION – BLAST is a youth led organizations working towards a responsible lifestyle that will enable Adolescents and Young People to test for HIV and ensure those that are positive access treatment and care and those that are negative remain HIV free by dissemination of proper and correct SRHR information. Our target population is university students and out of school adolescents and young people.

Sauti Skika

We are an initiative for and by adolescents and young people living with HIV whose goal is to ensure the voices of adolescents and young people Living with HIV is heard at all levels of Health Programming. The main agenda is to help other young people who are yet to come to terms with their status to be able to accept their status, to create awareness on HIV to the society at large and reduce HIV related stigma and discrimination. Through their voices, the young people talk about the issues that are affecting them, with the sole purpose of making a difference.

POSITIVE YOUNG WOMEN VOICES (PYWV) was formed when adolescents and young people advocates noticed there were major challenges facing young women and girls living with and at risk of HIV within the Nairobi slums of Dandora. Armed with experience, they chose to fill the gaps by offering mentorship, provide linkages and referrals, create awareness and offer information on staying HIV free. PYWV supports the most vulnerable girls and young women in provision of sanitary towels which due to poverty makes the AGYW in Slums engage in transactional sex.

Mentor Chica

We are an Adolescent and Young Women Led organization that works to provide mentorship and information regarding HIV treatment care and support to ensure that we address arising teenage pregnancy and Drugs abuse among Adolescents and Young People in Mombasa and Kilifi County. We offer community outreaches to various schools and out of school students. Through partnership with the health facilities in the county we offer referrals for different health services.
